WHAT RACHEL RILEY SAID ABOUT MASON GREENWOOD WAS TERRIFYING

After The Athletic reported that CEO Richard Arnold informed the club's executive leadership in the first week of August that United were preparing to bring back Greenwood, the Manchester club issued a statement this week stating that they have not yet made a decision regarding the 21-year-old.

Arnold intended to explain the decision in a video that would be shared with staff and the general public as part of the strategy for the forward's reintegration with the men's first squad. The film was scheduled to be released on Friday, August 4.

United did not go through with the announcement, and 13 days later, they have yet to publicly declare any decision. This means that some aspects of the plan could still alter.
TV host Rachel Riley has threatened to leave her beloved Manchester United if the club brings back Mason Greenwood in the upcoming weeks.

TV host Rachel Riley on Mason Greenwood's return Manchester United's women's team have expressed their concerns about Greenwood returning to the club's Carrington training ground before their match against Wolverhampton. The 21-year-old has not played for the Premier League giants since his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, assault, and coercive control. If he returns, Riley, who is a huge fan of the Manchester club, says she will stop supporting the Red Devil.
