GOOD NEWS FOR ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB

The good news that Arsenal's captain, Martin Odegaard, has signed a new contract that will keep him with the team until 2028 will be welcomed by the club's supporters.

Mikel Arteta, who appointed Odegaard as his captain, a choice that is increasingly seeming to be the right one as time goes on, will undoubtedly be as happy as anybody that the club has secured their man for what, injuries notwithstanding, are anticipated to be the best years of his playing career. Therefore, deciding to dedicate himself to the club for the following five years would have been a simple choice for him.

Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and the regrettably wounded Jurrien Timber have bolstered the team,

And from the outside looking in, it does seem as though Arteta had everyone working together.

Even though you think Arsenal will give it their all, Pep Guardiola's Man City are still the side to defeat. They may receive the impetus they need to move forward seriously from this point on thanks to the news of Odegaard's extension.
