Christopher Nkunku's high-profile transfer from RB Leipzig to Chelsea has been completed.

Nkunku had been closely associated with the Stamford Bridge team for some time, but when the transfer was finalized on Saturday, Chelsea has finally secured their man. Last season, the French star led all scorers with 20 goals and 15 assists in the Bundesliga, but Youssoufa from Borussia Dortmund is another German player who has been linked to Chelsea. Moukoko Nkunku's Leipzig contract featured a £53 million release clause, but according to Fabrizio  the Blues paid an additional £10 million to close the transfer quickly. Nkunku's hiring is Chelsea's first marquee acquisition of the Graham Potter era, with the former Brighton manager replacing Thomas Tuchel in September. With Armando Broja sidelined until the end of the season with a knee injury, the Blues are experiencing a bit of a dilemma up front. As a result, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the only true center forward at the club, with Kai Havertz having the ability to fill in as a false nine when necessary. Despite bein...

When the January transfer window opens, Manchester United is reportedly considering a €50 million (£43.1 million) offer for Cody Gakpo.

To help cover the vacuum left by Cristiano Ronaldo, the Dutch World Cup sensation who scored three goals in Qatar will be signed this winter (who saw his contract recently terminated by mutual consent). According to the source, Erik ten Hag prioritized an aggressive signing this winter, and the board wants to support him with this deal since they believe it offers good value. Yes, we want to add a forward in January, but only if we can locate the perfect player, according to the United manager. We'll exert every effort possible. Gakpo, who failed to finalize a move to England in the summer, has previously discussed the prospect of joining the Red Devils. "Manchester United came to mind, but when it didn't, I lost track of it. I then began to have doubts. Leeds arrived. Do I need to go there? Now I'm just waiting. Manchester United has not contacted me yet. I'll give it some thought when they arrive. I also ask God for guidance in these choices.Gakpo might already ...

For Las Blancas, disaster! Real Madrid loses 2-1 to PSG to exit the Women's Champions League group stages.

Image
Madrid knew that only a win or a draw would keep their European aspirations alive going into their penultimate group match. Elisa de Almeida gave PSG the lead after only 15 minutes, and a Kadidiatou Diani penalty added insult to injury an hour later. Nine minutes left to play, Athenea del Castillo's goal gave them one more chance, but goal-shy Las Blancas were unable to score again, sending them out of the Champions League early. The WSL champion Chelsea and the current French leaders PSG were put in the same group as Las Blancas, which made it difficult for them to advance.  They will be unhappy with their competition performance anyway. Madrid has only scored twice since defeating Vllaznia 2-0 in their opening match, and they were unable to build on a valiant 1-1 draw with Chelsea against PSG earlier this month. Alberto Toril's team will now be focused on the difficult challenge of reducing Barcelona's lead at the top of the Liga F standings as their Champions League cam...

Real Madrid acquisition FIFA rules state that Endrick cannot play for the club until 2024.

Image
Due to FIFA rules, Endrick will be unable to wear a Real Madrid jersey for the next 18 months because he must wait until he becomes 18 in order to move to Madrid legally. But because the club and player have already reached an agreement, it's just a matter of time before he joins the rest of the Brazilian contingent at Santiago Bernabeu. Due to player misuse, FIFA adopted tough transfer restrictions that ban minors from playing abroad. However, minors can travel within the EU as players. Endrick will have to follow the rules and wait his turn before donning a Madrid uniform. For Los Blancos, this is not a novel idea. For instance, talented winger Vinicius Junior was bought from Flamengo 15 months before turning 18  The young star pledged to keep up his commitment to Palmeiras: "Until I sign with Real Madrid, I will continue to dedicate myself as I always have in order to offer Palmeiras even more on the field: more goals, more wins, more trophies, and even more happiness for ...

Regarding the refereeing during their World Cup semifinal loss to France, the Moroccan football federation (FMRF) has complained to FIFA. When Sofiane Boufal went down in the penalty area during the first half, Morocco feels that they should have been given a penalty. However, referee Cesar Ramos only booked the winger for a foul on Theo Hernandez. Additionally, they were angry by the inaction when Selim Amallah was injured in the second half. In a statement apologizing for their complaint, the FMRF stated: "The FMRF has written to the appropriate organization to request a review of the refereeing decisions that cost the Moroccan squad two penalties that, in the opinion of several officiating experts, were beyond dispute. The video assistant referee (VAR), who was equally astounded, did not respond to these circumstances." The choices may have been critical for Morocco because they caused the country to collapse out of world cup
