According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Manchester United's chances of getting Sofyan Amrabat to Old Trafford may depend on one crucial departure. 

All throughout Europe, there has been interest in Amrabat, and United is debating whether to make a move for the midfielder.

"United are very interested, and things will move more quickly if Fred's transfer to Galatasaray is finalized. The pressure on the Fiorentina player will rise as a result.

Fred is rumored to be on the chopping block at Old Trafford this summer, as Galetti suggested.

The Brazilian midfielder is'most likely' to depart United before the transfer season closes, according to TalkSPORT writer Alex Crook.

According to a report by The Guardian, Fred is reportedly open to leaving the club this summer, and Turkish club Galatasary has already started negotiations with United to sign him.

Also according to Sky Sports, West Ham United and the Stretford-based team have 'started conversations' regarding the possibility of bringing Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay to the London Stadium.

Maguire just lost his position as United's captain, and West Ham has since seen£20 million offer for the England defender was turned down.

While Leeds United is reportedly considering a deal for fullback Brandon Williams, according to Miguel Delaney of The Independent.
