Luka Modric discloses his "dream plan" to retire at Real Madrid, but he says he must first help Croatia defeat Argentina in their World Cup 2022 semifinal match in Qatar.

Luka Modric confessed he is not "100%" sure what he will do after the Qatar 2022 World Cup and hinted that he may retire from football shortly.

The 37-year-old midfielder, who is now training for Croatia's semi-final match against Argentina, has stated that he will make a decision about his future after the competition.

Having joined Los Blancos in August 2012, Modric did mention that it would be a "dream" to finish his career there. After the World Cup, there will be enough time to discuss everything, Modric continued, "What happens next, let's see."

I've stated numerous times that I intend to retire in Madrid. You can't state anything with absolute certainty, but that's my idea and my dream.

For Croatia to succeed, Modric has been essential. He guided his country to the World Cup final in Russia in 2018 and even took home the Golden Ball for the best player overall.
