Christiano Ronaldo speak about his future

Following Portugal's World Cup elimination, Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he "has no intention of retiring from international football... and is motivated to retake his spot to lead his country at Euro 2024."

Cristiano Ronaldo is committed to representing Portugal through at least Euro 2024.
After losing 1-0 to Morocco on Saturday, Ronaldo's team was eliminated from the World Cup in the quarterfinals. The 37-year-old was overcome with emotion as he walked down the tunnel following the game.

Ronaldo has no intention of making that his final appearance on the international stage, despite the fact that it appeared to be the last time fans would get to watch the five-time Ballon d'Or winner. He already has the upcoming international competition, the Euro 2024 in Germany, in his sights as he wants to continue representing his nation. For Portugal's final two games in Qatar, Ronaldo was left out of the starting lineup, but he still believes he can reclaim his spot and lead the squad at the following Euros, when he would be 39.

Fernando Santos' departure as manager might be beneficial to his cause. After leading Portugal to victory at Euro 2016, Santos has been in command of the national team since 2014. However, after their elimination in Qatar, Santos may be fired.

Even after dismissing the forward, he asserted that they still had a "tight relationship," although it seemed that he had lost that.
