 Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe combine for a stunning PSG goal that may be the best of the year.


On Friday night in Corsica, the French champs prevailed 3-0, with Messi, unavoidably, taking center stage.


The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner assisted Kylian Mbappe in starting the scoring midway through the first half.


Messi found Mbappe with a superbly weighted through pass, and Mbappe finished strong past goalkeeper Benjamin of Ajaccio.

PSG's second goal, which saw Messi and Mbappe wonderfully combine for a Goal of the Season contender, particularly wowed fans on social media.


One user tweeted, "Greatest to lace a pair of boots."


Another joked, "Messi with more goals and assists tonight than Ronaldo has all season."


Another person added: "No other Messi will ever exist. The very best."


With just 15 games across all competitions this season, Messi has nine goals and nine assists thanks to an outstanding campaign.


After Friday's victory, PSG now leads closest opponent Lorient by six points at the top of Ligue 1.


After playing Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League on Tuesday, Christophe Galtier's team will play Troyes on Saturday



in Ligue 1.
