r United, has informed coach Erik ten Hag that he intends to compete for a spot on the team.


In the 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, Ronaldo defied Ten Hag's order to make a late substitution.


The 37-year-old was subsequently benched for Saturday's match against Chelsea by the Red Devils.



However, Ronaldo has recently informed his manager that he wants to concentrate and rejoin the team.

The Portugal captain knows that working by himself won't help him reach his goal of arriving at the 2022 World Cup in top form.


Casemiro's late header was all Ten Hag's team needed to tie the score at one.
