 Nigeria defeated USA to advance to the U-17 World Cup semifinals for the first time.



Nigeria's Under-17 squad, often known as the Flamingos, has advanced to the U-17 women's World Cup semifinals this year.


For the first time in the competition, the team would go to the last four.


The competition is now taking place in India.


The Nigerian girls defeated the USA on penalties on Friday to go to the semifinals
